Her Poor Finger

Poor Arianna! She had an infected tendon sheath in her right index finger and had to have it operated on. The doc cleaned it out, gave her several IV antibiotics and after a couple days in the hospital she returned to campus. Sure hope she didn't pick up any of that MRSA that a couple other patients on her floor had.

Thanksgiving 2007

Thanksgiving 2007 found 25 of us gathering for turkey and the works, a good game of Pictionary, and three of the four Graces.

Beautiful November

Arianna is home from school so she and I took some of our friends' kids out to Walden Ponds yesterday for a hike. We had a great time in the nearly 80 degree weather. Saw lots of birds, a muskrat, and a dragonfly that hitched a ride on Lisa's shoe. Sure beats sitting in a classroom. (These kids are homeschooled and are aged 15, 12, and 8 and have two little sisters who went elsewhere to play.)

On Halloween, do you dress up as something you'd like to be? Why would Lizzie do this to herself????? But the black velvet headband gives her away.

Apparently a dorm-mate has theater-makeup experience. Ah------Halloween, what a day!
